If you’re a person that frequently reads our blog, you’re well aware that Creation Cabinetry specializes in building cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms. That being said, we often get requests for specialty projects such as a custom bar. Having been in business for thirty years, we have had the pleasure of building, designing, and installing bars for businesses and homeowners alike.
With that in mind, this blog entry will be centered around some of the custom bars that we built and installed in the past. We’ll start things off by looking at an at-home bar.
The bar shown here, which resides in a finished basement, is tightly nestled away behind a beautiful stone wall. The bar has enough room to comfortably seat three people, and can easily fit a few more if needed.
In addition to the seating area, there is also a good deal of cabinetry to house wine, glasses, and whatever else the homeowner would like to stow away. From storage and seating, to sinks and refrigeration, this bar is a one-stop shop for people that love to enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end of a long work day.

Next up on our look at custom bars is the behemoth shown on the right. Unlike the bar that we previously discussed, this bar is for commercial use, which makes complete sense when you look at the sheer size of it.
Wineries and wine tasting rooms are the perfect place for bars – especially bars of this magnitude. In the photo on the right, there is enough seating for at least 15 people.
In addition to the expansive seating, there are a number of work stations located behind the bar, which undoubtedly makes things easier for servers and bar tenders.
The third example that we’ll be looking at in this piece is the beautiful gray in-home bar shown on the left. It’s not nearly as large as the commercial bar above, and it doesn’t offer the same level storage as the first bar discussed.
While it’s not as large and doesn’t offer quite as much storage as the aforementioned projects, it’s an absolutely gorgeous bar. The level of craftsmanship is second to none; you’ll have a hard time finding a company that puts more heart and effort into building their cabinetry.
On the right, you’ll see the last custom bar that we’ll be looking over in this blog entry. This at-home bar is perfect for people who cannot get enough sports, as it has ample seating and is accompanied by a television for viewing purposes.
Much like the first bar that we discussed, it comes with a great deal of storage space, which makes it ideal for gatherings and parties. There are two designated wine areas on either side, and is fitted with glass doors, which makes keeping track of your alcohol inventory a cinch.
